Uncle Eddie's
8 Ocean Front North
Salisbury Beach, MA
978-465-9779
We'd like to thank Mike at
Uncle Eddie's in Salisbury Beach in advance for agreeing to host our 5th tribute band homeless benefit "A Tribute To The Homeless
5", featuring the area's best classic 80's metal tribute bands. This 4th of July holiday come rock right on the beach
with Uncle Eddie's for a good cause.
#9 Ale House
118 Ferry St.
Malden, MA
781-321-0265
We would like to thank the #9 Ale House in advance
for hosting our upcoming original Rock show
"The Rock Show 8". Their no-hesitation willingness to help us out is huge for us. After last year we were left
with less venues than we started with, and the Boston area is tough when it comes to letting us do these shows without some
sort of fee attached, so Kudos to the #9 Ale House.
Go there, have a beer, hear some Rock!
Patrick's
40 Lebanon Street
Malden, Mass. 02148
781-324-3418
We would like to give a BIG
Thank You to Kathy and Eric and everyone at Patrick's for letting us put on our second Blues show "STB Blues 2", a show
which was in jeopardy of being cancelled when we lost our venue where the show was originally scheduled to take place.
They pretty much saved this show on really short notice. The snow kept a lot of people away, but Patrick's regulars
really came through in the form of donations. We are also doing a second show there in April of 2010. I don't know about you,
but I like a place owned and frequented by generous people, so bring the good karma back around and come hang
at Patrick's in Malden.
P.S.
The adjoined restaurant Franny's makes fantastic blueberry pancakes.
Check'em out :>)
Mapquest Patrick's
The Honey
Fitz
142 Pleasant Street
Malden, Mass. 02148
781-324-0111
Stop The Bleeding would like to thank
the Honey Fitz for hosting "The Rock Show 6" and most recently "A Tribute To The Homeless 3". A great owner, a great
staff, and generous regulars all added up to a great night of hard rock and a lot of money raised for the Nashua Soup Kitchen
and Shelter. Come hang at the Fitz to watch a game, or for a great meal(check out the Lobster Scampi). :>)
The Baseball
Tavern
1270 Boylston Street
Boston, Mass. 02215
617-867-6526
This is actually a repeat Thank You.
The Baseball Tavern has stepped up
AGAIN to help us when we really need it. In November of 2006 they were the first club to give us a Saturday night to work
with, in November of 2008 they had us back again to put on our homeless veterans benefit, and on top of that, they gave us 5
shows in 2009 - all Saturday nights. This time around I'd like to thank Joe Donovan for hooking us up. No one has
gone this far to help us until now. So not only is the Baseball Tavern the best place in town to catch a game, it's also the
most generous establishment we've come across. Come out to a show to help those in need, starting this Spring at
the Baseball Tavern.
The Overtime Sports Bar & Restaurant
208 Rantoul Street
Beverly, Mass. 01915
978-524-0005
We
would like to thank David Rooney, Charlene, Tim, Glenn, Paul, Hannah, and everyone at
the Overtime Sports Bar and Restaurant. This is a very classy spot - a great place for a meal(the food is AMAZING), to
watch a game(great TV's), or to see a show(hint hint). At a time when we were pretty much at a standstill due to the
lack of any kind of venue, the Overtime graciously stepped up to help us out.
Did I mention the food?
I'm still reeling from the chicken parm.
The Midway Cafe
3496 Washington Street
Jamaica Plain, Mass. 02130
617-524-9038
Dave
at the Midway has very generously donated his room free of charge on five occasions - this is rare around here -
someone DONATING their venue - most places won't - I found that out the hard way - and it's a great place - it really
is - great atmosphere - great place to hear and see a band - go there soon. :>)
The Baseball Tavern
1270 Boylston Street
Boston, Mass. 02215
617-867-6526
I want to thank Adam
at the Baseball Tavern for donating his basement room AND giving me a Saturday night to work with - which is HUGE in terms
of getting people to come out - which, obviously, is the whole point, to raise as much money as possible for a good cause. It's a great room - you've got the bar, a couple pool tables, and the stage area - not to mention the Tavern
is a multi-level facility, with a larger main room at street level with a bigger bar and TV's and the whole deal. And there's
food - GREAT food - and reasonably priced too. Go there now. Cool place to hang - good season for it too.
NE Design
123 Jersey Street
Boston, Mass. 02215
617-247-2028
A HUGE Thank
You to NE Design for hooking me up with free Stop The Bleeding shirts - we've sold a good amount of these, and they really
are high quality and they look great - so check out NE Design for all your apparel needs - for your band, for your business,
for your CHARITY :>)
They are the best.
The Cooperative Bank
201 Main Street
Charlestown, Mass. 02129
617-242-0380
The Cooperative Bank, Charlestown
Branch, opened an account for us and
WAIVED ALL FEES - of the 9 banks I called to inquire about opening an account, The Cooperative Bank was the ONLY one
willing to cut a non-profit company a break. The less expenses Stop The Bleeding has, the more money there is to help
the people we're trying to help, and seeing a bank step forward to help is very encouraging. Can you feel this thing starting
to move? I can.
So I thank The Cooperative
Bank for their generosity, and I encourage you to use them for all your banking needs.
